Record numbers of women have been energized to get involved in politics since the 2016 presidential election. Be it running for office, supporting a candidate or marching for a cause, women are flooding the political scene.
As the 2018 midterms approach, KQED wants to help tell those women’s stories.
We want to hear from Republicans, Democrats, independents:
Women running for political office for the first time: federal, state, local offices -- from local school boards to Congress and everything in between
Women who might not be running but have stepped up their political involvement (volunteering for campaigns, making contributions, organizing fundraisers)
Women who found a new passion for certain issues
If this describes you, please complete our form by Aug. 3 and we may be in touch.
Thanks for being a part of our storytelling, and feel free to reach out.
