Tell Us: Know a Woman Running for Office?

Record numbers of women have been energized to get involved in politics since the 2016 presidential election. Be it running for office, supporting a candidate or marching for a cause, women are flooding the political scene.

As the 2018 midterms approach, KQED wants to help tell those women’s stories.

We want to hear from Republicans, Democrats, independents:

    • Women running for political office for the first time: federal, state, local offices -- from local school boards to Congress and everything in between
    • Women who might not be running but have stepped up their political involvement (volunteering for campaigns, making contributions, organizing fundraisers)
    • Women who found a new passion for certain issues

If this describes you, please complete our form by Aug. 3 and we may be in touch.

Thanks for being a part of our storytelling, and feel free to reach out.
